In 2012, Elisabeth Chávez Rivera, originally from the state of Michoacán, traveled to the Baja California peninsula in search of personal growth and new opportunities. After discovering the beauty and unique energy of Baja California Sur, she decided to settle in Todos Santos, a magical town located approximately 80 kilometers from La Paz, the state capital. There, she found herself immersed in an extraordinary multicultural community where Mexican traditions blend harmoniously with influences from around the world. Inspired by this environment and driven by her lifelong passion for cooking, Elisabeth began sharing meals with friends and family, using food as her way of expressing love, gratitude, and connection. Combining authentic Mexican flavors with her own creative touch, she developed a style of cooking that resonated deeply with both locals and visitors from around the world. What began as preparing meals for intimate family gatherings and small community events quickly evolved into something much larger, as more people began requesting her services professionally. This passion and organic growth led to the creation of Chávez Catering Events in early 2014, a company founded on hospitality, authenticity, and creating memorable culinary experiences. In 2021, Eliseo Gómez, Elisabeth’s longtime colleague and trusted collaborator of more than 20 years, officially joined the company as Operating Partner and CEO of Operations. Bringing extensive operational experience, leadership, and strategic vision, Eliseo became a fundamental part of the company’s expansion and professional growth. Together, Elisabeth and Eliseo have built a family-driven company that combines creativity, operational excellence, and genuine hospitality. Their shared vision has allowed Chávez Catering Events and its associated projects to evolve into a respected and growing group of businesses focused on service, community, and exceptional experiences throughout Baja California Sur. -Bienvenidos¡ Elisabeth Chavez
